2.2 Creating, saving, and managing documents
This lesson is all about document management. You’ll learn how to create, save and manage documents in your Workspace — a key skill as you start doing more in Sketch.
Some UI in this video is outdated — no worries, this doesn’t affect how things work. We’ll share an updated version soon!
Key learnings
You can save documents to your Workspace or locally. Use My Drafts to store documents that you don’t want other members of the Workspace to see — perfect for personal projects or ideas that aren’t quite ready for you to share.
Choose File > Open Workspace document… or use the keyboard shortcut CommandO to open a document in the Mac app.
Drag and drop a local document into the Workspace window to save a copy in your Workspace.
